Dwight Poler joined Bain Capital in 1994. He is a Senior Advisor to the Private Equity team. Previously, he was a Partner and Chairman of the Private Equity business in Europe. Dwight established the European business in 2000 and managed it until 2017. He has been active across all industry verticals with his current focus on the Healthcare Vertical. He has worked in the Boston and London offices.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Dwight was a consultant at Bain & Company where he worked in the technology, consumer products, and financial services industries. Previously, he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley & Co. with a focus on technology deals. A member of the Advisory Group formed by the British Venture Capital Association and led by Sir David Walker, Dwight was an active participant in the formulation of the Guidelines for Disclosure and Transparency in Private Equity.
Education
Dwight received an MBA with distinction from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth where he was a Tuck Scholar. He received a BA from Amherst College.
