James Tam joined Bain Capital in 2019. He is a Managing Director on the Asia Pacific Private Equity team, focusing on Greater China.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, James was the Head of Asia Pacific Mergers & Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong.


Education

James received a MA in international relations and BA in economics from the University of Chicago.
