Rama Naageswaran joined Bain Capital in 2022. He is as an Operating Partner in the Portfolio Group and a member of North America Private Equity team, focusing on investments in our Technology Vertical.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Rama was Vice President of Product Management at Rubrik, a leading Data Security company, where he launched multiple SaaS products and helped the company scale to over $500M ARR. Previously, he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Partnerships at Cisco Systems and a Consultant at Bain & Company. Rama began his career as an engineer with a networking start-up Turin Networks (acquired by Dell).
Education
Rama received an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, an MS from University of Colorado at Boulder, and a dual BS in electrical engineering and physics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
